Austin AC Repair-How do I Know When It’s Time?

February 2, 2016by melissa.walker@620solutions.comNo Comments

The weather in Austin can be really quirky.  One day it’s 50 degrees, and the next day it’s 83!  I don’t understand it, but what I do know is you need to have your AC ready to go at any given time. I test my AC often to make sure it is always blowing cool air.  I also have taken it upon myself to change my air filters so they don’t stay clogged with dust and cobwebs!

How do I know when I need Austin AC Repair? Well I think the answer is simple: your AC is blowing hot air consistently.  Or you keep messing with your thermostat and can’t seem to identify the “right” temperature.  I remember I used to keep my thermostat set at 72 degrees.  When my AC gave out, I started to reduce the temperate constantly until it was at 50 degrees!  I didn’t know if I just needed freon or what.  I did know that I was in need of some good old fashion Austin AC repair.

I think part of my struggle was knowing who to trust.  I think credibility in a company goes a long way.  I priced shopped for about a day since I was sweating my tail off and all my fans did was circulate and blow more hot air and then I finally made my decision.  TXACSpecialist.com offered some big coupons that I thought were a huge help! Who wouldn’t want to save $500 on a new unit?  I think making be feel at ease and the speed of great customer service was a big win in my book.  I would say check these guys out, especially their reviews because I was very pleased with their work.

How to Choose the Best Austin AC Repair Company

How do I choose the Best Austin AC Repair Company?

That’s the dilemma.  There are so many companies and so little time to shop around.  I have searched high and low to find the best priced with stellar customer service and I have found that www.txacspecialist.com  when I am seeking Austin AC Repair, I know who to go to.  I like how they answer their phones 24/7 and will help in an emergency.  Their business is family owned and operated and they stand by their work.  One of the things that really stood out t be was their reviews.  They have over 300 reviews and I was hard pressed to find any negative ones.  I feel like if customers take the time to write legitimate reviews, then they must be truly happy with their service.

I noticed they were hiring and have a lot of certified technicians that service not just Austin, but the surrounding areas like Georgetown, Cedar Park and Round Rock.  I would give them a call the minute my ac needed a repair because I like great customer service and dealing with a family that really treats you like you are apart of it.

I have done my research on other competitors and although some had good price points, I’m not sure I had the same warm and fuzzy feeling from a customer service perspective.  Additionally the some companies do not have the extended hours and that can be rough when your AC fails on a Sunday or in the middle of the night.  I always say “go with your gut,” so I go with a trusted, credible company who has serviced the Austin area for over 10 years.

Help! My Air Conditioner is Not Getting Cold!

There’s nothing worse then having hot Austin air conditioning fail you! Texans know how hot it gets here and there is nothing more frustrating when your “reliable” air conditioning lets you down. If today is any indication of how hot it can be here in Texas in the winter time, imagine what your summer might look like! So now is the time to get your unit checked. And I love how they offer financing!

Remember, there are several issues that could be causing your ac to blow warm or hot air. It could be your compressor, or motor which may need to be replaced. Or perhaps, it is something simpler like replacing your air filter that may be full of dust and other debris.

The experts at www.txacspecialist.com recommend you be proactive with your air conditioning and get your system checked before anything breaks, especially if you are hearing any unusual noises. If you service it before something major happens, you may be able to save yourself thousands of dollars.

Stay cool before it really gets hot so you don’t sizzler in the heat!
